About Beth
Beth Cannata holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and a Master of Science in Health Science Education from Bradley University. She began her career in cardiac critical care nursing and, after many years of clinical experience, became a nursing instructor at both the collegiate level and for a national healthcare company. She currently works in a clinical position at an ambulatory surgery center.
Beth’s passion for volunteer service began during her college years and has remained a central part of her life. She is a sustaining member of the Junior League of Sarasota. During her active years in the Junior League, she chaired numerous committees and served on the board of directors, including a term as president. She currently serves as president of the parish council at her church and previously served on the board of directors of the New College Library Association.
Throughout her years of community involvement, Beth has chaired numerous fundraising events benefiting organizations including the Ringling Museum, Marie Selby Botanical Gardens, the New College Library Association, the Hermitage Artist Retreat, and St. Martha Catholic Church and School. She currently serves on the board of directors of the Dynasty Stars Foundation.
